- Most of the wait is your deposit confirming: about 5–15 minutes from USDT (TRC20) or SOL, 20–60 from BTC. Zcash blocks arrive about every 75 seconds.
- Fees:

Which exchanges have Zcash?
ZEC trades on large regulated exchanges in many countries, including Coinbase, Gemini, Kraken, Binance and OKX, as well as on instant swap services such as GhostSwap and in wallets with built-in swaps. Access depends on where you live: Kraken stopped ZEC for residents of India and the UAE in 2026, KuCoin delisted it in September 2025, and some countries bar licensed exchanges from listing privacy coins. OKX, which delisted ZEC in January 2024, listed it again in November 2025, and Binance removed its Monitoring Tag from ZEC in July 2025.
Is Zcash on Coinbase?
Yes. Coinbase lists ZEC (the ZEC-USD market was online on 15 October 2026). Coinbase accepts ZEC from transparent and shielded addresses but sends withdrawals only to transparent addresses, so shield the coins in your own wallet afterwards if you want them private. Coinbase UK stopped supporting ZEC in 2019.
Is Zcash legal?
No country we checked bans owning ZEC. Some stop licensed exchanges from listing privacy coins, and from 10 July 2027 EU crypto service providers can’t keep accounts that use them. Country by country, with sources: Will Zcash be banned? (in German: Wird Zcash verboten?).
Can Zcash reach $1,000?
It already did: ZEC rose above $1,000 on 4 September 2026 for the first time since its 2016 launch week, and on CoinGecko it was $1,227.90 on 15 October 2026.
