What are the minimum and maximum swap amounts?
Every pair has its own minimum and maximum, and the exchange box shows both before you send, next to the amount you'll receive and the network fee.
The limits differ by pair and move with the market:
- The minimum exists because each swap pays blockchain network fees. Below a certain size, those fees would take most of the amount, so the minimum keeps the swap worth doing.
- The maximum depends on how much of the coin you receive can be delivered at the quoted rate at that moment.
To see the current limits for a pair, enter the two coins in the exchange box, or open the pair's page, which lists the typical minimum.
If you send less than the minimum or more than the maximum, the swap doesn't run automatically. Contact support@ghostswap.io with your swap ID and the deposit transaction hash. Support can usually complete the swap at an updated quote or return the deposit to an address you control.
Tip: check the limits right before you send, especially for large amounts, because they can change during the day.
