ETH to NEAR: Exchange Ethereum for Native NEAR, No KYC
To swap ETH to NEAR, enter your NEAR account (a name such as alice.near or a 64-character hex ID) plus the 0x address the ETH leaves from, and make the mainnet ETH transfer to the single-use deposit address. You receive native NEAR on NEAR mainnet, with no bridge, no account and no ID.

How much NEAR do you get for ETH?
GhostSwap quotes at 2 Nov 2026, 20:42 UTC, after the service fee and the cost of sending the NEAR to your wallet.
The rate floats with the market until your ETH deposit confirms.
From an address to an account
The biggest change on this pair is what an address means. On Ethereum, an address is 0x plus 40 hex characters, derived from your key. On NEAR, you receive at an account. That account can be a readable name like alice.near, or an implicit account written as 64 hexadecimal characters.
Both forms work for the payout, but they behave a little differently. A readable name has to be registered on NEAR mainnet before anything can be sent to it. An implicit account is created on the chain by its first incoming transfer, so a fresh Meteor, HOT Wallet or MyNearWallet install can receive at it right away.
Neither form looks like a 0x address. If the payout field shows 0x, you have pasted the Ethereum address by mistake. NEAR also has a test network whose names end in .testnet, and those cannot hold real NEAR, so check the ending as well.
Sending ETH: mainnet only
Only mainnet ETH counts toward a NEAR payout here. ETH on Arbitrum, Optimism, Base or another layer-2 sits at the same 0x address, and MetaMask or Rabby will send it to the deposit address without complaint, but it arrives on the wrong chain and the swap cannot see it. Look at the network name in your wallet before you confirm.
Ethereum charges gas in ETH beyond the amount you swap, so keep some back rather than emptying the wallet. Gas rises when Ethereum is busy; the gas fee guide explains how to pick a quieter moment.
Expect roughly 2 to 5 minutes for the deposit to confirm, and Etherscan shows it under the transaction hash. The sender field should be the same 0x address you send from, in a wallet you control. Refunds return to it.
What you can do with NEAR once it lands
NEAR pays its own network fees, and they are small, so the coins are usable as soon as they arrive. You do not need a second coin in the wallet to move them, stake them or use NEAR apps.
NEAR confirms the payout in a few seconds. Search your account name or 64-character ID on NearBlocks to see it, or simply open Meteor, HOT Wallet or MyNearWallet.
People move from ETH to NEAR for a few honest reasons: lower fees for everyday transfers, staking NEAR with a validator, or using an app that runs on NEAR. Whatever the reason, the swap pays native NEAR, not an ERC-20 copy on Ethereum, so it belongs in a NEAR wallet and not in MetaMask's token list.
If you hold a stablecoin on Ethereum rather than ETH, USDT ERC20 to NEAR and USDC to NEAR are separate pairs.
ETH and NEAR compared
| ETH (you send) | NEAR (you receive) | |
|---|---|---|
| Network | Ethereum mainnet | NEAR mainnet |
| Where you receive | 0x plus 40 hex characters | Name such as alice.near, or 64 hex characters |
| Confirmation | About 2 to 5 minutes | A few seconds |
| Fee paid in | ETH | NEAR |
| Wallets | MetaMask, Rabby, Ledger | Meteor, HOT Wallet, MyNearWallet |
| Explorer | Etherscan | NearBlocks |
Note the length difference in the address row. A NEAR implicit account is 64 hex characters, while an Ethereum address is 40 after the 0x. They are easy to tell apart once you know to look. In practice almost all the waiting on this pair is on the Ethereum side, since NEAR settles the payout within seconds of it being sent.
Rate, timing and no KYC
Enter an ETH amount and the exchange box shows the NEAR you receive after fees, using aggregated liquidity from leading crypto markets. Until Ethereum confirms your deposit the quote can still move, and the box lists this pair's minimum and maximum.
After confirmation, most swaps finish within minutes, and NEAR settles the payout in seconds.
At no stage are you asked to register, verify an email or show ID. GhostSwap is a no-KYC crypto exchange, so the swap runs on your NEAR account for the payout, your Ethereum sender address and the ETH deposit. For a step-by-step walk through a similar route from Bitcoin, see the BTC to NEAR guide. Going back later? Use NEAR to ETH.
Refunds and getting help
If a swap cannot be completed, the coins are refunded to the sender address you entered. For this pair that is your Ethereum address, and the refund comes back as ETH on mainnet.
Do not use an exchange withdrawal as the deposit. Exchange payouts come from pooled hot wallets, and refunded ETH landing there may never show in your account. Move the ETH to your own MetaMask, Rabby or Ledger first.
Your swap ID links to a live status page. When the deposit is confirmed on Etherscan yet the page stays frozen for hours, support@ghostswap.io can look into it; include the swap ID and your transaction hash. A repeat deposit will not speed anything up.
Common mistakes
- Depositing layer-2 ETH from Arbitrum, Optimism or Base when the pair takes only mainnet ETH.
- Entering a .near name that has not been registered on NEAR mainnet yet.
- Typing a name ending in .testnet; test-network accounts hold no real NEAR.
- Pasting your 0x Ethereum address into the NEAR payout field.
- Looking for the NEAR in MetaMask; it arrives in a NEAR wallet such as Meteor or HOT Wallet.

How to Exchange Ethereum to NEAR Protocol
Select ETH and NEAR
Pick ETH in “You send” and NEAR in “You get”, then enter the amount.
Enter NEAR Protocol Address
Paste the NEAR address that should receive the NEAR. Then enter the Ethereum address you send ETH from; a refund, if ever needed, goes there.
Send Ethereum
Send exactly the amount shown from your own Ethereum wallet to the one-time deposit address.
Receive NEAR Protocol
Your NEAR arrives on NEAR. Follow each step on the status page with your swap ID.
