USDT BEP20 to BNB: Swap Tether to BNB on BNB Smart Chain, No KYC

Both sides of this pair live on BNB Smart Chain. USDT is a BEP-20 token there, and BNB is the chain's own coin, the one that pays gas for every transfer, approval and contract call. That makes this swap mostly about fuel. A wallet can hold plenty of Tether and still be stuck because the BNB balance has run down.

The common reasons are simple. You want to refill gas so you can keep moving USDT or use BSC apps. You want to hold some BNB itself, whose price moves with the market, unlike a dollar token. Or you are moving out of a dollar position on BSC without leaving the chain. In every case the payout lands at a normal 0x address, and the rate is set from aggregated liquidity from leading crypto markets, floating until the deposit confirms.

Sending your USDT to the deposit address is a BNB Smart Chain transaction, and it is paid in BNB like any other. Trust Wallet, MetaMask and Rabby will not let you send the token if the BNB balance cannot cover gas. So this pair works for topping up a wallet that is low on BNB, not one that has none at all.

BNB Smart Chain addresses look exactly like Ethereum ones: 0x followed by 40 hexadecimal characters. That is convenient, because the BNB can go to the very address that held the USDT, and the wallet shows both in one place once it is set to the BNB Smart Chain network. MetaMask and Rabby need that network selected; Trust Wallet shows BNB Smart Chain coins in their own list.

Two address mix-ups are worth knowing. Anything that begins bnb1 is from the retired BNB Beacon Chain, closed in December 2024, and is useless for this payout. And because 0x addresses are shared across chains, the BNB may seem missing if your wallet is set to Ethereum. Switch the network and it appears. The BNB you receive needs no approval or token import. It is the native balance of the address.

Only the official BEP-20 USDT can be swapped on this pair. On BSC that token has the contract 0x55d398326f99059fF775485246999027B3197955, which you can match on BscScan by tapping the token in your wallet. Wallets sometimes show other tokens called USDT that someone dropped into the address unasked; those are worthless copies and will not count as a deposit.

Check the network in the send form too. Tether exists on Ethereum, Tron, Solana and BSC, and each is a separate coin to the exchange box. If yours is on Ethereum, the deposit belongs on a different pair; USDT ERC20 to USDT BEP20 moves it over first if you want to stay in dollars on BSC.

BEP-20 USDT is an issued token, and its issuer can freeze the balance held at an address, as is true of USDT on every chain. BNB, the coin you receive, is the chain's own asset rather than an issued token.

BNB Smart Chain confirms the USDT deposit in under a minute, and the BNB payout confirms just as quickly. Most swaps finish within minutes in total. Because you send a dollar token and get a coin that moves with the market, the BNB amount is the part that can shift: the rate floats until your deposit is confirmed, and the box shows the BNB after every fee before you send.

Gas on BSC is low next to Ethereum, but it is not zero, and the exact cost depends on what you do with the BNB later. A plain transfer uses little; contract calls and approvals use more. If you plan to use BSC apps often, top up enough that you are not back here after a handful of transactions.

The 0x address you give as the sender doubles as the refund address. If the swap cannot go through, your USDT BEP20 is sent back there, which only works if it is an address in a wallet you control.
