USDT TRC20 to USDT SOL: Move Tether From Tron to Solana, No KYC
To move USDT from Tron to Solana, enter the amount, paste the Solana address that should get the Tether (32 to 44 characters, no 0x) and your Tron sender T-address, then transfer the TRC20 USDT to the one-time deposit address on Tron. You skip sign-up and ID entirely; the SPL USDT is paid out once Tron confirms your deposit, which takes about a minute.

How much USDT SOL do you get for USDT TRC20?
GhostSwap quotes at 2 Nov 2026, 20:16 UTC, after the service fee and the cost of sending the USDT SOL to your wallet.
The rate floats with the market until your USDT TRC20 deposit confirms.
Why people move Tether from Tron to Solana
The dollar amount barely changes in this swap. What changes is the chain your USDT lives on, and with it the coin you pay fees in. On Tron, each transfer is paid with energy and bandwidth, which cost TRX when you have none staked. On Solana, every transfer is paid in SOL.
The usual reason is the wallet. Someone who already uses Phantom or Solflare for Solana apps wants the dollars there, next to the SOL they already hold, instead of keeping a second Tron wallet funded with TRX just to move one token. Others get paid in TRC20 by a client or a peer-to-peer trade but spend and save on Solana.
It is also a way to stop topping up TRX. If your Tron address keeps running out of energy, and you already keep SOL for other reasons, moving the balance once can be simpler than paying for every future TRC20 transfer. The rate comes from aggregated liquidity from leading crypto markets and stays close to one to one, minus fees shown in the box.
The Tron side: what your wallet pays to send TRC20
Your deposit is a normal TRC-20 token transfer, so the Tron rules apply. The network charges it in energy and bandwidth. An address with staked TRX uses its own energy; an address without it pays by burning TRX. That cost is paid by your wallet, separate from the USDT you send, so the amount in the quote stays intact.
Before you confirm, TronLink and Trust Wallet show the TRX they expect to burn. A wallet holding USDT and zero TRX will refuse the transfer, so add a little TRX first. A transfer to a fresh address can need more energy than usual, which is why the estimate is not always the same.
Tron adds a block every 3 seconds and the deposit counts after about a minute. Check the token before sending: Tether on Tron is the TRC-20 contract TR7NHqjeKQxGTCi8q8ZY4pL8otSzgjLj6t, and other tokens using the USDT name will not be credited.
Your Solana address: the main wallet address, not a token account
A Solana address is 32 to 44 base58 characters. It never starts with 0x and never with T, so it is easy to tell apart from the address you send from. Copy it from Phantom, Solflare or the Solana account of a Ledger.
Solana keeps each token in a separate token account that belongs to your wallet. Paste the main wallet address your app shows when you tap Receive, the one you would also use for SOL. Wallets then list the USDT under that same address. The payout's network cost is already inside the quote, so the receiving wallet does not need any SOL for the USDT to arrive.
The real token is Tether's SPL mint Es9vMFrzaCERmJfrF4H2FYD4KCoNkY11McCe8BenwNYB. If you look it up on Solscan, search the payout transaction rather than the token name, because copycat tokens with the same name exist on Solana as well.
Tron and Solana side by side
| USDT TRC20 (you send) | USDT SOL (you get) | |
|---|---|---|
| Token standard | TRC-20 on Tron | SPL on Solana |
| Address | Starts with T, 34 characters | 32 to 44 base58 characters, no prefix |
| Fee to move it | Energy and bandwidth, or burned TRX | A small amount of SOL |
| Confirmation | About a minute | Under a minute |
| Common wallets | TronLink, Trust Wallet | Phantom, Solflare, Ledger |
| Explorer | Tronscan | Solscan |
Both columns are the same dollar token from the same issuer, so pick by where you will use it next. On both chains the issuer keeps the power to freeze USDT sitting at a particular address, because that control is built into Tether rather than into Tron or Solana. For a longer look at transfer costs, see TRC20 vs ERC20 vs Solana.
Once the USDT is on Solana: plan for SOL
Receiving cost you nothing, but sending will. Every Solana transfer pays a fee in SOL, and the first time you send USDT to an address that has never held it, part of the cost is a small deposit that creates the token account on the other end. A wallet that holds only USDT cannot cover any of that.
So if this is a new Phantom or Solflare wallet, put some SOL in it too. The simplest way is a second, small swap from the same TRC20 balance on USDT TRC20 to SOL, paid to the same Solana address. Then you can move the USDT whenever you need to.
If you only wanted SOL to begin with, skip this pair and use that SOL pair directly. Solana apps also accept USDT for many things, and the Phantom swap guide walks through the wallet side.
Refunds, tracking and support
Refunds go to the Tron sender address you type in. Should the swap fail to complete, your USDT goes back to that Tron address, which is why it should belong to a wallet you hold the keys for. TRC20 sent straight out of an exchange account leaves from a shared address, and a return there may never reach your balance.
Follow the swap on its status page with the swap ID. The deposit can be checked on Tronscan with its transaction hash, and the payout on Solscan once it is sent. If Tronscan lists the deposit as confirmed yet the status page sits still for ages, send the swap ID plus the Tron hash to support@ghostswap.io, and hold the rest of your USDT until you hear back.
Common mistakes
- Trying to send the USDT from a Tron wallet that holds no TRX or energy, so the transfer is refused.
- Copying a token account from Solscan into the payout field rather than the main wallet address.
- Entering a Tron T-address or an 0x address in the Solana payout field.
- Paying the deposit as an exchange withdrawal, so any refund lands at an address that is not yours.
- Leaving the new Solana wallet without any SOL, so the USDT sits there with no way to pay the next fee.

How to Exchange Tether (TRC20) to Tether (Solana)
Select USDT TRC20 and USDT SOL
Pick USDT TRC20 in “You send” and USDT SOL in “You get”, then enter the amount.
Enter Tether (Solana) Address
Paste the Solana address that should receive the USDT SOL. Sending USDT SOL to an address on another network can lose the coins. Then enter the Tron address you send USDT TRC20 from; a refund, if ever needed, goes there.
Send Tether (TRC20)
Send exactly the amount shown from your own Tron wallet to the one-time deposit address. Keep a little TRX in that wallet for the network fee.
Receive Tether (Solana)
Your USDT SOL arrives on Solana. Follow each step on the status page with your swap ID.
