XMR to USDT SOL: Convert Monero to Tether on Solana Without KYC
To convert XMR to USDT SOL, give the box your Solana wallet address (32 to 44 characters, never starting 0x) and a Monero refund address of your own, wait for your Monero wallet to finish syncing, then pay the XMR into the one-time deposit address displayed. With no account or ID involved, the Tether is sent as an SPL token after the deposit reaches 10 Monero confirmations, about 20 minutes, and Solana needs less than a minute to confirm it.

How do I exchange XMR to USDT SOL?
Pick XMR and USDT SOL
Pick XMR in “You send” and USDT SOL in “You get”, then enter the amount. The box shows how much USDT SOL you get after all fees, and the minimum for this pair.
Paste your Solana address
Paste the Solana address that should receive the USDT SOL: it is 32–44 letters and numbers with no 0x prefix. Wallets that work: Phantom, Solflare or a Ledger. Then enter the Monero address you send XMR from; a refund, if ever needed, goes there.
Send XMR on Monero
Send exactly the amount shown from your own Monero wallet to the one-time deposit address, on the Monero network.
Receive USDT SOL
Your USDT SOL is paid out once your XMR deposit confirms, and Solana then confirms it in under a minute. Most swaps finish within minutes. The exact time depends on how fast each network confirms your deposit. Follow each step on the status page with your swap ID.
Paying the XMR: sync, unlocked balance, exact amount
A Monero wallet only knows which of its coins are still unspent after it has read the latest blocks. Start Feather, Cake Wallet or Monero GUI a while before you swap and let the progress bar reach the top; a half-synced wallet can build a transfer the network rejects. If syncing through a remote node is slow, choosing a different node in the settings usually helps.
Next, look at the unlocked balance rather than the total. Coins that arrived within the last 10 blocks are still locked and cannot fund the deposit. The wallet adds its fee in XMR on top of the amount, sized by how big the transfer is and which priority you choose, so leave a little spare.
Enter the precise XMR figure from the box and send it in one transaction. The refund address you typed in should be a subaddress from this same wallet. The swap begins counting once your transfer is in a block; Monero produces one about every 2 minutes, and the deposit needs 10 of them, so plan for about 20 minutes on this side.
The Solana address that should receive the Tether
Solana addresses are base58 strings of 32 to 44 characters. There is no 0x prefix, and the characters 0, O, I and l never appear. In Phantom, open Receive and pick the Solana entry, because the same app also shows Ethereum and Bitcoin addresses. Solflare, or a Ledger running the Solana app, only gives Solana addresses.
Paste your main wallet address, the one the app labels as yours. Token accounts you might find on Solscan, the sub-accounts that actually hold each token, are not what the field wants. Your wallet works those out from the main address by itself.
A brand-new wallet can receive this payout. The USDT needs a token account at your address, and the sending side normally covers the small cost of creating it, so you do not need to fund the wallet first. You will need SOL later, though, the moment you want to send the USDT on.
USDT as an SPL token: the mint and the SOL you need
On Solana, Tether is an SPL token issued under one mint address: Es9vMFrzaCERmJfrF4H2FYD4KCoNkY11McCe8BenwNYB. That is the token this swap pays. Look it up on Solscan if your wallet ever lists two different USDT entries, since spam tokens with copycat names and logos are airdropped to Solana wallets all the time. The real one is the one with that mint.
Every transfer of the USDT afterwards is a Solana transaction, and Solana fees are paid in SOL only. A wallet with USDT and zero SOL can display the balance but cannot move it. Add a small amount of SOL to the same address before you need to spend; a separate XMR to SOL swap to the same wallet is one way to do it.
Tether can freeze USDT held at any Solana address. That is how the issuer designed the token, whatever chain it is on, and it is worth knowing before you keep large sums in it.
Which dollar coin, on which chain
The box pays dollar stablecoins on several networks from XMR. Choose the one where you will actually spend it, because switching chains later costs another swap.
| Pair | Arrives as | Address type | Needed to spend it |
|---|---|---|---|
| XMR to USDT SOL (this page) | SPL Tether | Base58 Solana address | A little SOL |
| XMR to USDC SOL | SPL USD Coin | Base58 Solana address | A little SOL |
| XMR to USDT TRC20 | TRC-20 Tether | Tron T-address | TRX or energy |
| XMR to USDT ERC20 | ERC-20 Tether | 0x Ethereum address | ETH for gas |
Solana suits people who already use Phantom or Solflare and Solana apps, where transfers settle in under a minute and fees are low. If what you want is SOL itself rather than a dollar balance, the XMR to SOL pair pays native SOL, which can pay its own fees.
Private on one side, public on the other
Your XMR deposit reveals nothing useful on the Monero chain: sender, receiver and amount are hidden. The USDT payout is the opposite. Solscan shows every token balance and every transfer of a Solana address to anyone who looks it up, so the payout address becomes a public record from the moment the Tether lands.
Use a Solana address with no history for this swap rather than the wallet you use with your name attached, for example one that has received payments from people who know you. Phantom and Solflare can create extra accounts under the same seed phrase in a couple of taps.
Also bear in mind where the USDT goes next. Sending it on to a known account links the payout to that account. How much this matters depends on your reasons for swapping; Is Monero traceable? covers what Monero itself protects.
Refunds and a swap that seems slow
Put a Monero address from your own wallet in the refund field. Any swap that fails to complete returns the XMR to the sender address you entered, and an address you control is the only kind you can be sure of seeing again.
Your swap ID's status page counts the Monero confirmations as they come in. A slow start is almost always the wallet: an unsynced wallet that never broadcast the transfer, or a fee priority set very low. Check that the transfer shows as sent in your wallet's history, with a transaction ID.
Once the confirmation count reaches 10, the swap goes ahead at the floating rate, which GhostSwap takes from aggregated liquidity from leading crypto markets at that moment; the payout then shows on Solscan. Should the count sit at 10 with no further progress for a long stretch, pass the swap ID and your Monero transaction hash to support@ghostswap.io by email, and refrain from sending more XMR to that deposit address.
Common mistakes with XMR to USDT SOL
- Paying while Feather or Cake Wallet is still catching up with the chain, so the network refuses the transfer.
- Pasting an Ethereum or BNB Smart Chain 0x address where a base58 Solana address is needed.
- Pasting a token account copied from Solscan instead of the main wallet address.
- Keeping USDT on Solana with no SOL in the wallet, so it cannot be sent on later.
- Trusting a lookalike USDT token in the wallet without checking its mint address.
