Quick answer: what are good alternatives to SimpleSwap?
The main alternatives to SimpleSwap are GhostSwap, ChangeNOW, FixedFloat, SideShift, Exolix and Godex, plus THORChain for swaps from your own wallet on a decentralized protocol. None needs an account for a normal swap. They differ on rates, coin lists, privacy coins and when they may ask for ID. GhostSwap asks for no account, email or ID upload to start a swap and has a Tor mirror, but offers a floating rate only, no app and no loyalty program. For a fixed rate plus phone apps, ChangeNOW offers both.

A SimpleSwap alternative is any service that swaps one coin for another, wallet to wallet, with no account.

The shortlist

  1. GhostSwap. Best for: no account, email or ID upload to swap, a Tor mirror, and Monero, Zcash, Dash and Pirate Chain.
  2. ChangeNOW. Best for: fixed or floating rates, phone apps and card purchases.
  3. FixedFloat. Best for: a flat, published fee (0.5% floating, 1% fixed) and Bitcoin Lightning.
  4. SideShift. Best for: a 15-minute fixed rate with network fees included, where it’s available.
  5. Exolix. Best for: an aggregator with fixed or floating rates and Monero support.
  6. Godex. Best for: a fixed rate that holds for 30 minutes, with 960 coins listed.
  7. THORChain. Best for: swapping native BTC, ETH or ZEC from your own wallet.

Why people look for a SimpleSwap alternative

SimpleSwap (since 2018) has 2,800+ coins, fixed and floating rates, and apps. People comparing it with others usually point to these:

  • No sign-up is for low-risk swaps. Its KYC policy (30 October 2025) says the “free from sign-up” approach applies only where it sees low risk, and that it may require checks on any transaction. A check can include ID, the source of your funds and a live selfie matched to your ID. It may freeze a swap during the review.
  • The better terms sit with accounts. Loyalty discounts need an account, and SimpleSwap’s KYC page says verification “often” brings better rates and higher speed. That suits regular users, less so people who’d rather keep no account or ID on file.
  • Partners can start a check. Its FAQ says a check can follow when SimpleSwap “or a partner system” sees a swap as suspicious.
  • No Tor route. We found no Tor mirror on the SimpleSwap pages we checked.

SimpleSwap is non-custodial: it sends coins straight to your wallet. For a side-by-side, see GhostSwap vs SimpleSwap.

The alternatives, one by one

1. GhostSwap

GhostSwap is an instant, non-custodial swap, live since October 2024. You choose the coins, paste the receiving address and send the deposit. Starting a swap needs no account, email or ID upload. With no accounts there are no loyalty tiers; the quote includes the fee. It lists 1,600+ coins, with Monero and Zcash pages, and adds:

  • a Tor onion mirror;
  • a Telegram bot;
  • a status page for every swap;
  • an MCP server for AI agents.

The minuses: floating rate only, no app and a younger track record. Time follows the deposit chain: about 20–60 minutes for Bitcoin, 5–15 for Solana or Tron.

2. ChangeNOW

ChangeNOW has run since 2017, lists 1,000+ coins and offers fixed or floating (“classic”) rates. It says swaps usually take about 1 minute. It has iOS and Android apps and card purchases in more than 47 fiat currencies. Standard swaps need no account, but its FAQ says a risk system can hold a swap and ask for ID through SumSub. See also ChangeNOW alternatives.

3. FixedFloat

FixedFloat (ff.io) has run since 2018 and says you needn’t register or give personal data to swap. Its fee is a flat percentage, each plus the network fee:

  • 0.5% on a floating rate;
  • 1% on a fixed rate, which freezes for 10 minutes.

It lists Monero, Zcash and Bitcoin Lightning, but gives no total coin count. Its terms say it may pause an order in some cases and ask where the funds came from. More in FixedFloat alternatives.

4. SideShift

SideShift.ai swaps 300+ coins straight to your wallet. You choose a variable rate or a fixed rate locked for 15 minutes, with network fees included in the fixed quote. It says shifts take about 10 minutes on average. There’s no sign-up form: an account ID is created automatically after your first shift. Its help center says a shift that a third-party risk tool links to illegal activity is paused for human review, and a refund may then need verification. Two limits:

  • it blocks several countries, including the US, Russia and Thailand;
  • Monero and Zcash were paused when we checked.

5. Exolix

Exolix has run since 2018. It’s a non-custodial aggregator that routes trades to third-party providers. It lists 500+ coins with fixed or floating rates; an account is optional. Monero is supported, Zcash isn’t. Its KYC policy (6 July 2026) says it may request government ID, a selfie, proof of address and source-of-funds documents.

6. Godex

Godex says it has been active since 2018 and lists 960 coins, Monero and Zcash included. You don’t register or leave personal data. A fixed rate holds if your deposit arrives within 30 minutes, and a floating rate is offered too. The homepage says trades need no KYC; its KYC policy (March 2024) describes checks on government ID.

7. THORChain

THORChain is a decentralized cross-chain protocol, running since 2019. It swaps native coins across 14 blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Tron and Zcash. Its FAQ says it needs no account, registration or identity verification, though some third-party front-ends may have their own rules. You swap from your own wallet through an app that integrates it; you pay gas to send, and the receiving gas and a liquidity fee come out of your output. Monero isn’t live yet: THORChain’s blog (8 October 2026) calls it work in progress.

How to choose

  • Want a locked rate? ChangeNOW, FixedFloat, SideShift, Exolix and Godex offer one. GhostSwap is floating only.
  • Prefer a protocol to a company? THORChain runs swaps on-chain from your own wallet, but Monero isn’t live there yet.
  • Swapping into privacy coins? Check the table’s Monero / Zcash column first. Our BTC to XMR page shows a live quote with fees included.
  • Check where you can use it. SideShift blocks several countries, including the US.
  • Compare like for like. Quote the same pair and amount in the same minute, then compare the amount you’d receive.

How we compared

  • We are GhostSwap, one of the services listed. We placed ourselves first and named our minuses too.
  • Rival facts come only from each rival’s own pages (homepage, FAQ, help center, terms or KYC policy), checked on 11 October 2026. Coin counts are their own figures.
  • We ran no test swaps for this page and quote only the speeds and fees each service publishes.
  • LetsExchange isn’t listed: its homepage says it stopped exchange operations on 1 October 2026.

FAQ

What are good alternatives to SimpleSwap?

GhostSwap, ChangeNOW, FixedFloat, SideShift, Exolix and Godex are instant swap services that need no account for a normal swap. THORChain is a decentralized protocol you use from your own wallet. The right pick depends on whether you want a fixed rate, an app or privacy coins.

Are there sites like SimpleSwap that need no account?

Yes. Every service here skips the account for a normal swap. GhostSwap also asks for no email or ID upload to start one. SideShift creates an account ID for you automatically.

Does SimpleSwap require KYC?

Not for most swaps. Its FAQ and KYC policy say it can ask for ID, source-of-funds details and a live selfie when it decides a swap needs a check, and hold the swap meanwhile.

Is SimpleSwap custodial?

No. SimpleSwap says it is non-custodial and sends coins straight to your wallet. So do GhostSwap, FixedFloat, SideShift, Exolix and THORChain. ChangeNOW’s normal swaps are non-custodial too; its optional Pro account holds coins.

Which SimpleSwap alternatives have a fixed rate?

ChangeNOW, FixedFloat (10 minutes), SideShift (15 minutes), Godex (30 minutes) and Exolix. GhostSwap has a floating rate only and shows the fee inside the quote.

Which SimpleSwap alternatives support Monero and Zcash?

GhostSwap, ChangeNOW, FixedFloat and Godex list both. Exolix lists Monero only. THORChain has Zcash; Monero isn’t live yet. SideShift had both paused on 11 October 2026.
