USDC to IMX: Swap USD Coin (ERC20) to Immutable X, No KYC

USDC and IMX both live on Ethereum mainnet as ERC-20 tokens. That makes this pair simpler than most: the deposit and the payout sit on the same chain, use the same 0x address shape and show up on the same explorer. You can even receive the IMX at the very wallet the USDC leaves from.

A fresh payout is easy to miss. MetaMask and Rabby only list a token once they know about it, so a new IMX balance can sit unseen at your address. Search your address on Etherscan, open the IMX token from there and import it into the wallet. Do not trust a contract copied from a social post or a direct message.

The usual reason is the game side of Immutable. Some players and collectors keep a dollar balance in USDC and switch part of it into IMX when they want to stake, vote or pay inside that ecosystem. Others simply want a position in the token after holding stable funds for a while.
