USDC SOL to ZEC: Swap Solana USD Coin to Zcash, No KYC
To swap USDC SOL to ZEC, enter the USDC amount, paste a transparent Zcash address that starts with t1 or t3 and the Solana address you send from, then transfer the SPL USDC to the one-time deposit address. Nobody asks for an account or ID, and the ZEC arrives at that transparent address, from where you can shield it in your Zcash wallet.

Collez votre adresse Zcash
Dollars on Solana into a privacy coin
USDC on Solana is fast and cheap to move, and every transfer is public on Solscan: who sent it, who received it and how much. Zcash offers something different. Once ZEC is in a shielded address, the sender, receiver and amount of its transfers are encrypted on chain.
This pair connects the two. You spend Solana dollars and receive Zcash on its own chain, not a wrapped copy on Solana. People use it to hold part of a stablecoin balance in a coin with optional privacy, or to pay someone who prefers Zcash. Keep the trade-off in mind: USDC tracks the dollar, while ZEC's price moves with the market.
The rate comes from aggregated liquidity from leading crypto markets and floats until your Solana deposit confirms. The box shows the ZEC after fees before you send. To learn more about the coin itself, see the Zcash price page et la Zcash exchange hub.
Sending SPL USDC from Phantom or Solflare
The deposit is a standard SPL token transfer of USDC on Solana. Phantom, Solflare and a Ledger on Solana pay the network fee in SOL, never in USDC. If the wallet holds USDC and no SOL at all, the transfer will not go through, so keep a little SOL in it.
The sender field wants your wallet's main Solana address, the one on its Receive screen: 32 to 44 letters and numbers with no 0x in front. A token account copied from Solscan is the wrong thing, and so is the address of an exchange you withdraw from, because a refund goes back to whatever you type there.
Make sure the token is Circle's USDC on Solana and not a look-alike with the same name. Solana confirms in under a minute, and the deposit shows on Solscan right away. Circle can freeze USDC at a given address; that is a property of the token and applies to the USDC before it is swapped.
The ZEC payout needs a t1 or t3 address
Here is the one rule that trips people up. The payout goes to a transparent Zcash address, which starts with t1 or t3. Unified addresses (u1...) and shielded Sapling addresses (zs...) cannot receive this payout. Zodl (formerly Zashi), Zkool and Zingo all show a unified address first, so look for the transparent option on the Receive screen.
Use a fresh transparent address rather than one you have used before. An old t-address may already link to other activity on chain, and the whole point of the next step is to start clean.
Zcash blocks come about every 75 seconds, and the payout is confirmed in about 10 to 20 minutes. You can follow it by searching your t-address on Blockchair. Transparent ZEC is visible there like any public coin until you shield it.
Shielding the ZEC after it lands
Once the transparent balance has confirmed, move it into the shielded pool inside your wallet. In Zodl this is a Shield button; Zkool and Zingo offer the same step. The wallet sends the ZEC from your t-address to your own shielded address, paying a small ZEC fee.
After that, transfers between shielded addresses hide the sender, receiver and amount. The shielding transaction itself is visible as a move out of the transparent address, so the amount entering the pool can be seen. Some people wait a while or shield in parts for that reason.
Keep the wallet's recovery phrase offline; it restores both the transparent and the shielded balances. For background on how Zcash privacy compares with Monero, the guide Zcash contre Monero walks through the differences. If you would rather receive Monero, use USDC SOL vers XMR.

Most of the waiting is on the Zcash side. Solana settles your USDC almost at once, most swaps finish within minutes of that, and then the ZEC needs its Zcash confirmations before your wallet treats it as spendable.
Remboursements et assistance
If a swap cannot be completed, the coins are refunded to the sender address you entered. On this pair that is your Solana address, and the refund comes back as USDC on Solana. Use a Phantom or Solflare address you control, not an exchange deposit address.
Each swap has a status page and an ID. If Solscan shows your USDC deposit as finalized and the status page has stopped moving for a long time, email support@ghostswap.io with the swap ID and the Solana signature. Do not send the USDC a second time while you wait for a reply.
One case support cannot reverse: a valid t-address that belongs to someone else. Check the payout address before you confirm the swap.
Erreurs courantes lors de la conversion USDC SOL en ZEC
- Pasting a unified (u1) or shielded (zs) Zcash address where the payout needs a t1 or t3 address.
- Sending SPL USDC from a Solana wallet that holds no SOL for the fee.
- Reusing an old transparent address that already links to other activity.
- Treating ZEC that still sits on the t-address as if it were already shielded.
- Entering an exchange account or a Solscan token account as the sender address.
