Why move bitcoin into FDUSD
FDUSD, First Digital USD, is a stablecoin built to track the US dollar. Swapping BTC into it parks the value in a dollar-tracking token, which is what people do when they want to step out of bitcoin's price swings for a while without leaving crypto. FDUSD is not the same coin as USDT or USDC. Each has its own issuer and its own reserves. If an app or a counterparty asks for FDUSD in particular, this is the pair; if they want USDT or USDC, pick those in the box instead.
Keep one detail of the token in mind. FDUSD is centrally issued, and its issuer can freeze FDUSD held at an address. That is a feature of the token itself, the same kind of control other issued stablecoins have, and it has nothing to do with how the swap runs.
Sending BTC: confirmations and the fee
The deposit is ordinary bitcoin on the Bitcoin network, from a bc1, 3 or 1 address. Your wallet sets the network fee, paid in BTC on top of the amount. Sparrow and Electrum let you choose the fee rate; a rate that is too low can leave the deposit unconfirmed in the mempool for a long time.
The swap waits for the deposit to confirm, which takes one to three blocks. Bitcoin blocks arrive about every ten minutes on average, so this is the slowest part of the trip. You can follow the deposit on мемпул.пространство с идентификатором транзакции.
Pick the sending wallet with care. The Bitcoin address you send from doubles as your refund address, so a hardware wallet, Sparrow or Electrum is a good source. Lightning balances and wrapped bitcoin on other chains are not valid deposits here; only on-chain BTC counts.
The BNB Smart Chain side
The FDUSD for this pair arrives on BNB Smart Chain as a BEP-20 token. A BNB Smart Chain address looks exactly like an Ethereum one: 0x followed by 40 hexadecimal characters. Trust Wallet, MetaMask and Rabby all work, as long as the wallet has BNB Smart Chain added and selected.
The shared address format causes the classic mix-up. The FDUSD is at your 0x address on BNB Smart Chain, so a wallet set to Ethereum will show nothing. Switch the network in the wallet, or check the address on бскскани баланс появляется.
To move the FDUSD afterwards, the wallet needs BNB for gas. A fresh BNB Smart Chain address holds none, so plan to add a little before your next transfer. The FDUSD itself confirms on BNB Smart Chain in under a minute and is in your wallet from that point.

Bitcoin pays its own fees, so the BTC side needs nothing extra. The FDUSD side is the opposite: the token cannot pay its own gas, and BNB has to sit next to it. Keep the two wallets apart in your head, Bitcoin for sending and a BNB Smart Chain account for receiving, and the setup is quick.
Quote, timing and no sign-up
The exchange box shows the FDUSD you get after fees for the BTC you enter. It draws on aggregated liquidity from leading crypto markets, and the rate floats with the bitcoin price until your deposit confirms. Large moves during the confirmation window change the result a little either way.
