LINK to SOL: Swap Chainlink to Solana With No KYC

LINK is an ERC-20 token, so sending it is a token transfer on Ethereum, and Ethereum charges gas for that in ETH. The LINK itself cannot pay its own fee. Before you start, check that the wallet holding your Chainlink also holds a little ETH. Without it, MetaMask or Rabby will show the transfer as impossible, or a Ledger will refuse to sign it.

The gas price rises and falls with demand for Ethereum block space, and it does not grow with the number of LINK you move, so the fee weighs more on a small swap than a large one. Your wallet shows the estimate before you confirm. Accept a normal fee; a very low one can leave the transfer pending, and the price is only fixed once the deposit confirms.

Confirmation on Ethereum usually lands within 2 to 5 minutes. You can watch it on Etherscan by pasting the transaction hash: the LINK shows under the token transfers of that transaction.

All of these use 0x addresses, so the address alone does not tell you which network your LINK is on. Look at the network your wallet has selected when it shows the balance. MetaMask, for example, lists LINK separately for each chain you have added. If the balance appears only under BNB Smart Chain or a layer 2, it is not the ERC-20 token this deposit address is waiting for.

Your payout address on Solana is a string of 32 to 44 base58 characters that never begins with 0x. Phantom, Solflare and the Solana app on a Ledger all show one under Receive. An Ethereum address will not be accepted in this field, which is a common slip when one wallet app holds both chains.

A brand-new Solana address needs no setup. The incoming SOL opens the account on the network, and from then on the account keeps a small rent-exempt reserve that the wallet does not let you spend. The rest is free to use straight away, including for fees, since SOL pays for every transaction on Solana.

The SOL transfer settles on Solana within a minute. If Phantom has not updated, paste your address into Solscan, which lists every incoming transfer, then refresh the wallet or check that you are viewing the right account.

The LINK to SOL price comes from aggregated liquidity from leading crypto markets, and it floats until your LINK deposit is final on Ethereum. Since that side takes 2 to 5 minutes, a fast market can move the result a little from the first quote. If a swap cannot be completed, the coins are refunded to the sender address you entered, which on this pair is your 0x address on Ethereum. Use one from a wallet you control. When LINK is withdrawn directly from an exchange into the deposit, the sending address belongs to that exchange, so returned tokens could go missing.

Write down two references: your swap ID and the deposit's Ethereum hash. If Etherscan shows the deposit confirmed and the status page has stopped moving, send both to support@ghostswap.io. Do not send the LINK again.

Chainlink holders often sit on Ethereum, where every move costs ETH and gas can spike.
