APT to BNB: Swap Aptos for BNB on BNB Smart Chain, No KYC

Aptos and BNB Smart Chain both write addresses with a 0x prefix, and that is where most confusion on this pair begins. An Aptos address is 0x followed by 64 hexadecimal characters. A BNB Smart Chain address is 0x followed by 40, the same format Ethereum uses. Placed side by side, the Aptos one is visibly longer.

Use that length as your check. The payout field wants the shorter, 40-character address from Trust Wallet, MetaMask or Rabby. The refund field wants the longer Aptos address from Petra or Nightly. A 64-character string is not a valid BNB Smart Chain address, and a BSC address entered as the refund address would leave a failed swap with nowhere sensible to return the APT.

Copy each address from its own wallet's receive screen. After pasting, compare the first and last few characters with the wallet, and never type an address by hand.

APT is the native coin of Aptos, a layer-1 chain whose smart contracts are written in Move. BNB is the gas coin of BNB Smart Chain, which runs the same kind of contracts as Ethereum. A move from one to the other is usually about using the BSC side: its apps, its BEP-20 tokens, or BNB itself.

The address row is the one that catches people out, because both entries begin with 0x; trust the length, not the prefix.
