BTC to KAS swaps Bitcoin for Kaspa, a proof-of-work coin that orders blocks in a blockDAG instead of a single chain. Kaspa's Crescendo hard fork in May 2025 raised its rate to roughly ten blocks per second, while Bitcoin still adds one block about every ten minutes. People use this pair to move part of a Bitcoin balance onto a fast proof-of-work network, and the KAS is paid to their own kaspa: address with no account.
