Most swaps finish within minutes. The coin you send sets most of the wait, because the swap starts once your deposit has enough blockchain confirmations.

| Coin you send | Typical total swap time |
|---|---|
| Solana (SOL), USDT on Tron, Polygon, BNB Smart Chain | 5–15 minutes |
| Ethereum (ETH), USDT on Ethereum | 10–25 minutes |
| Litecoin (LTC) | 15–35 minutes |
| Bitcoin (BTC) | 20–60 minutes |
| Monero (XMR), which needs 10 confirmations | 20–60 minutes |

A swap can take longer when the network is busy or the deposit was sent with a low fee. A missing memo or a deposit on the wrong network can also hold it up.

You can follow every step on your swap's status page, ghostswap.io/txs/?id=YOUR_SWAP_ID: deposit seen, confirmations, exchanging, sending, completed.
